The Public Lecture titled "BMN-673 (talazoparib), Mechanism of Resistance and its Reversal" was delivered today by Professor Chen Zhe-Sheng, the Director of the Institute for Biotechnology and a Professor in Pharmacology at the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, St. John's University. This lecture marks the beginning of the Distinguished Lecture Series on Eastern and Western Medicine organized by the School of Chinese Medicine, HKU. During the lecture, Professor Chen shared his extensive research on the impact of ABC transporters on the resistance to talazoparib (BMN-673), a PARP inhibitor. Researchers and students had the valuable opportunity to delve into Professor Chen's study, gaining insights into the Mechanism of Resistance and its Reversal.
